Survivors of Curse
A downloadable game
The survivors of Curse are one of the most hardy people in all of Teranern. Those few who can survive the horrors of the city find themselves forged anew.
This supplement features a new subclass for each of the Core Rulebook classes:
Barbarian: Path of the Drengr: The Drengr who choose to venture to Shakarn are a stock above. Journeying across the biting seas of ice and floating islands, they arrive at Fourshores ready to make their mark on the city by bringing artifacts back to their people in the icelands.
Bard: College of Melancholy: Time spent in Curse can be a sobering thing. Over time, the light and joy in life is drawn out like venom from a wound. The storytellers and singers who come to Curse find themselves wasting away, no longer inspired by music and song. The bards of the College of Melancholy instead seek out more and more sorrowful tales to tell to all who will hear.
Cleric: Domain of Sephera: The priesthood of Sephera are tender guides into the Worlds Beyond. Led by the child-goddess Sephera, they serve only to ensure that the dead are laid to rest, and remain there.
Druid: Circle of the Twisted Wood: The Twisted Wood disturbs the natural order of things, but those who have spent their time within the forest have found a balance to it, with its decaying branches and dying roots. The druids who have made this place their home speak of the unsettling beauty of the mangled plant-life, and some even say they hear the whispered voices of beings far more ancient than civilization itself.
Fighter: Freelance Archetype: The City of Curse draws many mercenaries in from across the Empire of the Seven Cities and beyond. The mercenary covens of Mynn are famed for their skills and are often hired en-masse for many different wars across Teranern. The most skilled mercenaries are granted a Letter of Freelance from the authorities of the Seven Cities. Many then travel to Curse to ply their trade. Most don’t survive the experience.
Monk: Way of the Street Fighter: Some who arrive in Curse don’t do so to venture into the city itself, but to gain fame and notoriety among the world’s greatest fighters, trading blows in the many underground fighting arenas that exist on the outskirts of the city. These tournaments culminate journey into the city itself in a final tournament deep in the bowels of the Undercurse.
Paladin: Oath of Ephaldin: The Ephaldian priesthood has taken a special interest in Curse. They have determined that this fallen city is a welcome refuge only to the heretics and betrayers of the true high god, Kyr’Elphaldin. Rejecting the worship of any other gods, they have determined to bring this city to heel in any way possible.
Ranger: Street Scout Conclave: The Street Scouts are an elite but loose band of mercenaries who are known for their ability to track down anything one would be looking for within the city of Curse. They are elite urban hunters, who know the city inside and out.
Rogue: Brute Archetype: While the city is a good place for those who are using stealth and guile to investigate the ruins, sometimes, a heavy hand is needed. Brutes are masters of their craft, if that craft is breaking skulls.
Sorcerer: Curseborn: Those born within the city or its outskirts are strange creatures permanently altered by this dark land. With strange, glowing eyes, they are imbued with ancient and terrible magics forgotten by the eons.
Warlock Patron: Tabal'Dur: The servants of Tabal’Dur, the Accursed One, have made a pact with the very embodiment of evil itself. Whether done out of desperation or the lust for power, their machinations reach out to every corner of Teranern.
Wizard: School of the Maji: All across the Empire of the Seven Cities, the Maji are hunted by the servants of Kyr’Ephaldin. Employing all the divine might within their power, they have been hunted to the ends of the earth, finally finding peace and solace within Curse. Well, as much peace and solace as one could find here. The Maji see the winding patterns of magic, able to pluck and weave magic from the air. This sight eventually destroys and consumes their mortal eyes. Most wear eye wraps to disguise their true nature.
